Had no idea if it was in focus or not 😄 - The mod was to cut the rear element of the adapter & sink it deeper into the barrel. For closer focusing. Would NOT recommend. Easier to use diopters.

Hey Sylvester, it's a Sankor 16D anamorphic lens adapter. I carried out the mod myself which I would NOT recommend! You can pick them up on ebay 👍

Thanks, Astrô. Much appreciated 🙏 The LUT's designed to work with BRAW footage straight out of camera. No need for CST or any specific color management settings. Unless you're working with multiple (different ) blackmagic cameras. Just be sure that under the BRAW control tab that you're set to bmdfilm and that the 'LUT Apply' box is unticked/unchecked. As a tip, make any WB, exposure or creative adjustments before the 2383 LUT. Anything else such as halation, sharpness, shadow and highlight balance etc after the LUT. Hope that helps 👍

@@UKHeritageRailways They do. What's the f-stop range on your lens and is it fixed throughout the focal lengths?

@@bulentozdemir The lens varies between f3.5 and f5.6. The C100 automatically compensates for this. At 18mm the lens can be stopped down to f22. At 135mm you can stop down to f36.

@@bulentozdemir I don't think so. I think they had global shutter in the original Ursa Mini or maybe early batches of either the 4k / 4.6k but then removed it due to production issues. I just realized I have your Blackmagic HD / 2.5k LUT (put the names together). I bought V1 probably 3 or so years and V2 recently. I got it for my BMPCC OG and it works great. Is V2 still compatible with Ursa Mini 4.6k files with the adjustments you noted for V1? Thanks!

@@MH-et5sn I think you're right. I def remember global shutter on the earlier 4K & 4.6K models. Ah, that's great to hear. Thanks you! Yes, the V2 LUT will work with your model. Might need to play around with opacity and saturation to dial in a more balanced look. Be great to see some footage 🙌

Hey, Anthony. Thanks! It' a camera that's growing on me the more I use it. C-Log's an interesting one because it seems you have to be very precise with the white balance and exposure to get a decent looking image. Currently working on a LUT specific to this camera but happy to create a beginners tutorial if there's enough interest. Have you filmed much with the Canon?

@@bigbenvisions This one's not the Arri conversion LUT. It's the organic/natural conversion. The Blackmagic Arri LUT is the one after (on the website). Hope that helps.

Me and my friend just bought two of them, we saw some reviews and everyone saying that this camera is amazing. I think that having the right lenses just do everything with this camera

I just upgraded to C70 after shooting on my two C100 M2's for 8 years. I sold one but had to hold onto one because I love the camera too much - even with it's terrible codec it's just Never let me down - insane battery life, tiny, gradable files, built in NDs and audio. Still great for a safety cam, long presentations, concerts and Timelapse.

@@Sutterjack How are you finding the C70 in comparison? Love the C100! And agree on all the points you mentioned. If only there was a way to bypass the 1080p codec and record the full 4K sensor read out to an external recorder 🤔
